God is no respecter of persons; what He did for them He will do for you too!

God’s Will For You is Health

  • God revealed Himself to Israel as Jehovah Rapha—the Lord Who Heals You, promising divine health if they would listen and follow His ways.
  • In the Old Testament, God made a clear distinction between His people and the Egyptians: none of the diseases permitted on Egypt would touch Israel.
  • Israel experienced supernatural health — “not one feeble person among their tribes.” (Psalm 105:37)
  • Healing flowed through God’s Word: “He sent His Word and healed them.” (Psalm 107:20)
  • In the Old Covenant, enjoying divine health depended on obedience to God’s law.
  • In the New Covenant, believers have a better covenant, better promises, and are already obedient children, not trying to qualify for healing.
  • If God wanted people under the Old Covenant disease-free, how much more believers redeemed by the blood of Jesus?
  • Sickness came as a consequence of the Fall, but in Christ, you have been lifted above its power.
  • Divine health is not just something God can do — it is part of His identity and will for His children.

By the righteousness Jesus obtained for us, the reign of sin and sickness over us has ended.

The Origin of Sickness

  • God is not the author of sickness; only good and perfect gifts come from Him (James 1:17).
  • Sickness is incipient death—a tool of the enemy, not a tool of God.
  • Man was originally created with dominion, free from fear, sickness, or death.
  • God warned Adam that disobedience would produce spiritual death, which eventually results in physical death.
  • When Adam sinned, he died spiritually, became separated from God, and received the nature of the devil.
  • Through Adam’s fall, sin entered the world, and death through sin, bringing sickness as death’s companion.
  • Germs, bacteria, viruses, and harmful creatures became destructive after the fall, when Satan infused creation with death.
  • From Adam to Moses, death reigned because sin ruled man’s spirit and affected his body.
  • For the believer, because of Christ, the reign of death has ended — sickness and death no longer have legal dominion.
  • Through the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness, you now reign in life through Jesus Christ.

The same sacrifice that washed away our sins destroyed the power of sickness over our lives.

The Essence of the Cross

  • The Cross is more than Jesus’ physical death; it carries deep spiritual meaning only understood through revelation.
  • To the world, the Cross seems foolish, but to believers it is the power of God (1 Cor. 1:18).
  • Jesus referred to Moses lifting the brazen serpent as a prophetic symbol of His own crucifixion.
  • The brazen serpent represented judgment, showing that Jesus would be judged in our place.
  • On the Cross, our sins were laid on Him; He became sin for us (2 Cor. 5:21).
  • Jesus fulfilled the role of both the sin offering and the scapegoat, carrying our sins away forever.
  • He died two deaths: spiritual death (separation from God) and physical death.
  • The Father turned His face from Him because He bore the sins of the entire world.
  • After dying, Jesus went to hell, confronted principalities, and defeated them.
  • He rose because the demands of justice were satisfied. His resurrection was our justification.
  • His sacrifice removed not only sin but also its effects: sickness, disease, shame, and oppression.
  • The same stripes that paid for our transgressions also paid for our healing — “With His stripes we are healed.”
  • As a result, you no longer have to accept sickness; healing is part of the finished work of Christ.

You are God’s house—He lives in every fibre of your being, every bone of your body, and every cell of your blood.

Recreated for Health

  • Understanding who you are in Christ gives you the boldness to walk in divine health.
  • The Gospels reveal Jesus; the Epistles reveal the new creation—the born-again believer.
  • Every believer is NOW a son of God (1 John 3:1–2), fully born into divine sonship, not growing into it gradually.
  • We are called into fellowship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, sharing their nature and life.
  • Believers have already been delivered from the power of darkness and translated into God’s Kingdom.
  • Deliverance is not a future expectation; it is a present reality for the new creation.
  • The Word is near you—in your mouth; your confessions enforce your victory and repel sickness.
  • You are now God’s dwelling place; He lives in every fibre, bone, and cell of your being.
  • The believer carries the God-life, making sickness incompatible with their identity.
  • The church is the glory of God, and as we behold the Word like a mirror, we are transformed into that same glory.
  • When you were born again, the natural life from Adam ceased; you received a higher life — the God-kind of life.
  • Divine health is your present inheritance, not something to struggle for.
  • Jesus didn’t restore us to Adam’s level — He brought us higher, giving us His own life, nature, and health.
  • You must consciously reject sickness and declare your identity in Christ to walk in divine health daily.

Our life is no longer controlled by the body; it is not dependent on the blood. The Spirit is now the source of life for our bodies.

The Life of the Blood or The Life of the Spirit

  • Paul explains that although the human body was once subject to death because of sin, the indwelling Christ changes everything—the Holy Spirit now supplies life to the body.
  • The believer is no longer controlled by the senses, feelings, pain, or the voice of the body; instead, he is governed by the Spirit of life.
  • The same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now vitalizes, energizes, and makes alive the believer’s physical body.
  • The author emphasizes that the life of the Christian is not dependent on the blood anymore; the Spirit becomes the new source of life.
  • Scientific discoveries are now catching up to this truth—reports suggest that believers may even show differences in their blood, a physical reflection of the spiritual life (Zoë) at work.
  • You are described as a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar people, carrying a unique, divine nature.
  • This divine nature implies a new “blood type”—the Divine Type (D-Type)—resulting from the influence of eternal life on the human body.

The more conscious you are of the life of God in you, the more divine health becomes your daily experience.

The Impact of Zoë on the Human Body

  • Zoë is the God-life—the very life and nature of God imparted to the believer at the new birth.
  • This divine life is what makes a Christian more than a mere human; it lifts you out of the limitations of natural life.
  • Zoë is not spiritual symbolism; it has real, tangible effects on the human body, influencing bones, tissues, organs, and blood.
  • Many Christians struggle with sickness because they’ve believed men more than they’ve believed God’s Word.
  • The Word teaches that the Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead quickens (makes alive, vitalizes) your mortal body, not your future immortal body.
  • Once you are born again, you have a right to reject sickness because eternal life is working in your physical body.
  • Zoë drives out weakness, infirmity, and disease because it is incorruptible and superior to death.
  • The more conscious you are of this divine life, the more you enjoy divine health as a present-tense reality.
  • This life is not given for heaven; it is meant to be expressed on earth, making your physical body an active carrier of divine health.
  • Zoë turns ordinary men into God’s living tabernacles, giving them a supernatural immunity to sickness.

The question is not God’s willingness; it’s your knowledge of His Word.

Doubting God’s Will For Your Health

  • Many Christians today do not know God’s will concerning healing, just like the leper who came to Jesus, saying, “If Thou wilt…”
  • Doubt about God’s willingness is one of the biggest hindrances to receiving divine healing.
  • Jesus immediately answered the leper’s question with absolute clarity: “I will; be thou clean.”
  • This response reveals God’s unchanging, universal will—He is always willing to heal.
  • The problem is never God’s willingness but the believer’s ignorance of the Word.
  • When you discover that healing is God’s will all the time, your faith becomes bold and unshakable.
  • The Word of God never fails; it only requires your alignment and response.
  • Just as Jesus instantly healed the leper, the Father’s heart toward His children is the same—immediate compassion, immediate healing.
  • God is not trying to decide whether to heal you; He already decided at the Cross.
  • Faith begins where the will of God is known—once you know “He wills,” you stop begging God and start receiving.
  • Divine healing becomes easy when you rest in the truth that God’s willingness is not conditional or selective.

Many are weak and sickly among God’s people because they have not discerned the Lord’s Body.

Why Christians Get Sick

  • In the early church, sickness became a problem only when believers failed to walk in the light of God’s Word.
  • A major reason believers get sick is a lack of reverence for spiritual things, especially the Lord’s Table (Communion).
  • In Paul’s rebuke to the Corinthian church, some were weak, sickly, and even died because they failed to discern the Lord’s Body.
  • The bread represents Jesus’ broken body, which was broken so ours would not be broken.
  • Not understanding this truth causes many to miss the healing power released through the Communion.
  • Spiritual ignorance is one of the greatest open doors to sickness among Christians.
  • Every child of God has already been healed in Christ, but failure to recognize this truth allows sickness to take advantage.
  • The believer must “judge himself” — meaning to evaluate his life and walk in the truth of the Word.
  • When you walk contrary to the Word, you step outside the covering of divine health.
  • The Word is life and health, so neglecting it results in weakness, sickness, and defeat.
  • Divine health is maintained through discernment, revelation, and obedience to spiritual truth.
  • God is not the source of sickness; it comes through ignorance, disobedience, and lack of spiritual understanding.
  • The solution is simple: walk in the light of God’s Word and honor what Christ accomplished on the Cross.

The devil’s weapon is condemnation, but your victory is righteousness consciousness.

Righteousness Consciousness

  • Many people’s faith is destroyed because they are sin-conscious instead of righteousness-conscious.
  • Instead of believing what God says about them, many believe the enemy’s lies and live under constant self-condemnation.
  • The Holy Spirit does not condemn the believer; He only convicts the world of sin so they can receive salvation.
  • Satan uses guilt and condemnation to make believers feel unworthy, blocking them from receiving divine healing.
  • God wants His children to be bold, confident, and fearless, knowing they are the righteousness of God in Christ.
  • Righteousness consciousness gives you boldness in prayer, faith in healing, and confidence before God.
  • Once you understand you have right-standing with God, you stop feeling like a “nobody” and start living like a son of God.
  • The devil cannot condemn you unless you give him permission by accepting his accusations.
  • God made you righteous to give you the confidence to receive anything He has already provided, including divine health.
  • A righteousness-conscious believer lives free from fear, sickness, and defeat because he knows who he is in Christ.
  • Faith becomes strong when you see yourself exactly as God sees you—washed, justified, righteous, and accepted.
  • Healing is easy for those who are bold in their righteousness and refuse to accept condemnation.

Act your faith; say what God says about you, not what your body feels.

Steps to Healing

  • Healing is not something you try to get from God; it is something Jesus already paid for.
  • To receive healing, the believer must first understand that God’s will is always healing, never sickness.
  • Step 1: Remove the Ignorance. Know from Scripture that healing belongs to you now; ignorance is often the main reason believers fail to receive.
  • Step 2: Believe the Word. Healing is activated by faith in what God has said, not in what the body is feeling.
  • Step 3: Act on the Word. Faith always requires corresponding action—saying what God says and refusing to speak sickness.
  • Step 4: Maintain Your Confession. Healing is sustained by boldly declaring your identity and refusing to accept symptoms as truth.
  • Step 5: Keep the Switch of Faith Turned On. Thanksgiving, praise, and continued affirmation keep the healing power working.
  • The power of God is always present; your role is to connect to it through knowledge, faith, words, and action.
  • Healing is not a long process; it becomes instant when faith is fully aligned with truth.
  • God does not heal reluctantly—He heals gladly, because it is part of His nature.
  • You must refuse fear, doubt, and negative speech because they cut off the power of God.
  • Healing is your right in Christ—something you receive, not something you beg for.

We have something better than a rod! We have a Name, Hallelujah!

Authority in the Name of Jesus

  • God has vested all His power in the Name of Jesus, and this authority works in the mouth of any believer.
  • Jesus gave believers delegated authority (exousia) over all the power of the enemy—not some, but all.
  • The Name of Jesus is higher than every name—every sickness or situation with a name must bow to it.
  • You must wake up to the reality of the authority you carry; no demon specialist is needed—just the Name of Jesus.
  • The authority in the name is not about spelling or pronunciation but about the person behind the Name and His risen glory.
  • The church has been sent in that same authority to set the pace for the world, demonstrating the life of God.
  • Understanding this authority changes your attitude toward demons, sickness, circumstances, and life entirely.

Never say you don’t have anything; you have something. The Name of Jesus has been given to you to use.

Use the Name of Jesus

  • Believers have something—the Name of Jesus—and must consciously use it in all areas of life. Peter demonstrated this at the Beautiful Gate when he said, “Such as I have give I thee…”
  • The name of Jesus is not just for prayer; it is also for making demands, commanding situations to change. Jesus taught that whatever you demand in His Name, He will do.
  • The Name of Jesus is your instrument of action, given to transform circumstances, heal the sick, and effect change.
  • Using the name requires confidence in what you carry, just like Peter, who knew he possessed something powerful.
  • Every believer has the legal right to use that Name because Jesus delegated His authority to the Church.
  • The Name of Jesus should be used boldly, not timidly. You must declare it over sickness, demons, and stubborn situations.
  • When you use the Name, Jesus Himself acts, because He said, “…that will I do…”.
  • The meaning of “ask” in John 14:13–14 is “demand”—not asking from God, but commanding situations in Jesus’ Name.

Divine health is your nature; healing is only a recovery when you fail to walk in your dominion.

Dominion Over Diseases

  • Dominion over disease is the believer’s present-tense inheritance, not a future promise.
  • Sickness is illegal in the body of a Christian because Jesus already bore our infirmities in His own body.
  • You must understand that Satan has no right to place sickness on you—the power is broken, and Christ has given dominion.
  • Divine health is the believer’s natural state; healing is only needed when you step outside the truth or fail to exercise dominion.
  • The author emphasizes that you don’t negotiate with disease—you rule over it with authority.
  • Dominion operates through words; you must speak authoritatively to your body and command it to comply with the Word.
  • The Name of Jesus places you over sickness, demons, and circumstances—they must obey when commanded.
  • Fear weakens dominion; faith strengthens it. Boldness releases the power of the Spirit.
  • The believer is not fighting for victory but from victory, enforcing what Christ already accomplished.
  • Divine health becomes real when you accept the truth that sickness has no power in your body unless you permit it.
  • Dominion is a lifestyle—a continuous, conscious exercise of authority over symptoms, fear, and negative reports.

The more the Word gains the ascendancy in your spirit, the more it dominates your body.

The Impact of the Word of God

  • The Word of God is the source of life, health, and strength for the believer; nothing influences the human body like the Word.
  • God’s Word is medicine—not figuratively but literally; it administers life to every part of your being.
  • Divine health is maintained by constant meditation, speaking, and acting on the Word.
  • The more the Word gains ascendancy in your spirit, the more it dominates your mind and body, producing healing and vitality.
  • The Word programs your body for strength, immunity, and longevity, overriding sickness and weakness.
  • The author emphasizes that the Christian does not live by vitamins or drugs but by the influence of the Word on his body.
  • God’s Word carries creative power; it repairs damaged tissues, flushes out sickness, and restores wholeness.
  • When your thoughts, words, and actions align with the Word, your body responds with health, peace, and stability.
  • Symptoms cannot dominate a believer who is full of the Word because the Word communicates light, and darkness disappears.
  • The Word of God frames your experiences; the less of the Word you have, the more sickness takes advantage of your ignorance.
  • Divine health is the by-product of a Word-ruled spirit — the more you yield to the Word, the stronger your body becomes.

Now that you know healing is your inheritance, act on the Word. Speak boldly, reject sickness, exercise your authority, and let God’s Word dominate your life. Walk daily in the divine health Christ has already secured for you.
