The greatest thing that happened to man after the fall of Adam, is his restoration back to God. This came to be through the finished work of Christ and his reconciliation with the Holy Spirit. For me, this makes a relationship with the Holy Spirit a very important part of the believer’s life.

Who Is The Holy Spirit

According to our author, Jesus introduced the Holy Spirit as “Another Comforter.” The word explained as another doesn’t stand for someone different, but rather another like him.

Then the Greek word for Comforter is “PARACLETUS” meaning a counselor, helper, intercessory, advocate, and standby.

Everyone needs help. Man was made by God as a dependent being. So if you aren’t helped by God, you will be helped by someone else—which is usually the devil.

The Holy Spirit is not human, but he is a being, not a thing. If you received Christ into your life, he is right there with you. And if you’ve taken it to the next level of receiving the Holy Spirit’s fullness with the evidence of praying in New tongues—you are Anointed.

You now have a new friend, who wants to help you study the word, talk to you, spend time with you, and much more. He wants to help you worship, heal wants to direct you on every situation, no matter what it is.

However, you must be conscious of his presence in your life, because you are no longer alone. He is with you everywhere you go—even in the restroom. He is joined to your spirit and gives life to your mortal body. Your consciousness of his presence with you will permit you to relate with him and this you’ll grow.

What Does The Holy Spirit Do In The Life of a Believer

There are only two kingdoms that are constantly at upheaval against each other. That which the author was concerned with is the Kingdom of God. When you gave up the Lordship of your heart and life to Jesus, you were admitted into this kingdom.

The admission was carried out by the Holy Spirit. He is a tour guide who must take you through this new kingdom you know so little about.

He has a ministry to every believer, and neglecting him will mean you don’t function in the kingdom. He has the responsibility of assigning roles to everyone. In the author’s words, “every child of God must function in one or more activities in the kingdom of God.

More so, like God who is our Father, we have creative abilities. But these abilities cannot be operated without the Holy Spirit. Through the Word and the Holy Spirit, you can open doors and close doors in your life. Anything is possible with You, the Holy Spirit, and the word. Speaking without him is ordinary and can only produce ordinary results.

What is the Anointing of the Spirit

The Anointing is another word for Power. So the Anointing of the Holy Spirit can also be called the Power of the Holy Spirit.

If you have received the fulness of the Holy Spirit, you have been Anointed. To be Anointed means to be smeared with oil as to become one with him 1 Cor 6:17. This transforms into what it means to be blessed.

To be blessed means that the Anointing is upon anything you touch. With the Holy Spirit in You and with you, everything you do is blessed. You must live in this consciousness. The author adds that even when you give, you should send it forth by the Anointing.

Use the Anointing for your Health, your Studies, Business, Career, and every aspect of your life. You have it, it’s the difference.

How to Minister to the Holy Spirit and Receive His Ministry.

Before now we have learned that the Holy Spirit can minister to every area of our lives. However, we have a responsibility to keep his ministry active in our lives.

The author emphasized that fellowshipping with the Holy Spirit is what brings us into his ministry for our lives. To fellowship means to be fond of, spend time with, or love the acquaintance of someone dearly. More like a relationship between a man and a woman.

If we must receive the Ministry of the Holy Spirit, we must learn to minister to Him. This is as seen in Acts 13:1-2. To minister simply means to serve him, pleasure him, obey him, and respond to his yearning.
